A placeholder model so you can try the 3D viewer right now — drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, and use the AR button on a headset or phone. The lab's real insect models will replace this.

This page is a home for the lab's 3D insect models. We build them with Tripo and export them as .glb files — the same format shown here in the viewer.

To add a real model, drop its .glb (and a poster image) into public/assets/models/, add a short entry in src/content/insects/, and it appears here automatically. See the hand-off notes for details.
